“I am military and was stationed in Korea when I got orders to NM. I had very little time to find a place to live and I knew I wanted to live in a 5th wheel for financial reasons. After dealing with several RV dealers and getting lied to, mislead or completely blown off, I heard of Kay’s RV. I spoke with Kay several times while still in Korea and she was very honest and helpful. Kay answered all my questions and even recommended things I had never thought of. This was my first 5th wheel after all, so I really did not know what to look for. I finally had it narrowed down to two trailers and Kay took several more pictures for me to show me more of the trailers, helping me to get the best idea of what the trailers looked like without me walking through them. Once I got back from Korea, Kay come in to work during her holiday to show me the trailers. After buying the trailer from Kay I had no way to move it. She arranged for the trailer to be delivered to me and fully set up. When I was working with Kay she made it a point to tell me that she viewed her customers more as friends and that is exactly the way she made me feel, like a friend. “We just bought a New Horizons 5th wheel from Kay. This is our 4th RV. The first thing I look for in an RV is high quality manufacturing. Kay’s lot is almost exclusively made up of the top manufacturers: Excel, New Horizons, Holiday Rambler Presidential, etc. The second thing I look for is an RV that has been loved. After talking with Kay and looking at the RV Bucket List, I could tell that Kay loves RVs. After our first few days in our 2004 New Horizon, I just couldn’t get over what pristine condition the coach was in. We live in Washingston state. I wanted to get a Double Tree, an Excel or a New Horizons. I didn’t think we would be able to afford a New Horizons, but I looked all over the country anyway. When I found the one we ended up buying from Kay, I thought that might work for our family, and ultimately, it did thanks to Kay. After a lot of time on the phone and email, Kay got the coach ready for our arrival. We arrived in the late afternoon on Sunday and slept in the coach overnight. Kay came in on her day off and made sure we were fully taken care of. Her RV technician also altered his schedule to fix all the nit picky things we found overnight and made sure we could hook up in the morning. He even fixed the truck’s power connection. After we left, we got follow up phone calls from Kay. Which turned out to be really good, because unfortunately as great as everything went with Kay, things didn’t go well with the tow vehicle we bought elsewhere. Kay offered to store the RV for us while we got the truck fixed or replaced. This is the most salient point I can make. It’s a point about integrity. When I asked the truck salesman to go through the truck and tell me what was wrong with it so I could repair it before we towed our 15,000 pound 5th wheel home, he said nothing because he was afraid to lose a sale. When I asked Kay how the tires were on the coach, she honestly told me that they were 7 year old tires; that they looked fine but she would highly recommend replacing them before we towed the rig home. Do you think most sales people would be afraid to lose a commission over $1,500 worth of new tires? I do. Of course, the rest is history. We sure didn’t have to worry about problems with the coach when we picked it up. The truck on the other hand, that was quite a different experience. I have never felt better about an RV purchase than this one. I know that for the years we enjoy our children’s adolescence, this RV will be at the center of much joy and fond memories for our family. I don’t care where you live; it’s worth the trip to buy from Kay. I guarantee you won’t regret it.”- Oksana & David

“Our fifth wheel experience with Kay’s RV begins like this. My husband and I had been looking for the perfect RV to fit our lifestyle for years. It seemed like everywhere we went, they tried to push us into buying an RV, never allowing us to think about it. We both always felt pressured and overwhelmed by them, so, we never found the one we were looking for…We had looked at so many new RV’s and we were more confused than ever when, my husband said, “let’s take a ride out to Moriarty.” That same day we took a late Saturday drive down to Moriarty, never thinking that we would find our dream home on wheels. There she was, we saw her from the road, our 32′ Alpenlite 5th Wheel. My husband and I both fell in love with the back window. Kay came out and introduced herself, told us the story of her father and we found ourselves just listening intently to her. Her vast knowledge of the RV business was mind boggling. Any question we threw at her, she answered, and if she did not know it, she found it later and answered every question. Kay took the time to answer what seemed to be at least a million questions I had, never making either of us feel stupid or unimportant. We walked into this beautiful 5th wheel with the big back window…Bob and I both fell in love with it. Kay then told us the story of the owners…it was so well cared for and it was everything we were looking for. Kay told us all about it, the RV and the way it had been cared for. Kay told us both to take the weekend to think about it…I do believe in my heart that Kay saw my eyes light up and knew I would call her back the next day. Still, no pressure on her part to buy it. On our way home I could not stop talking about the 5th wheel and the way I felt about meeting Kay. I told Kay when meeting her how much she reminded me of my dearest friend. Needless to say, the next day after discussing it in great length with my husband, we called Kay and made arrangements to see it again. Sold. Kay’s knowledge is priceless and her friendship is something that will always be so special. She cares for each of us that buy from her past and present.
